I'm officially a wrapper, however that doesn't mean that I have mad rhymes, or funky fresh free styling skills or even flash some bling bling. It means I'm got covered in super small fiber glass fibers that I'm allergic too, I guess that's what happens when you heat wrap pipes, yo?

Shop! You have done an excellent job on the bike. It makes my lil sportster look craptastic in comparison. You have alot of talent. F.Y.I. I didnt read up weather or not you used the ceramic based paint or not on your header wrap but if you leave it unpainted that stuff frays pretty bad and if you do paint it you may want to use black because of the road grime and crap spraying up on 'em due to a lack of a front fender. Just speaking from experence. also be careful hitting puddles and the freak showers of the beautiful emerald coast because of the wheel kicking up water onto the hot cylender heads. Also be carful when going through dog crap because it comes up over the headlite and into your mouth and on your face ect. around 15-20mph.

Ferrigan,
ReplyDeleteI'll keep a eye out for the dog poop, that sounds very unpleasant. And how can you say that about the sporty, it was instrumental in the inspiration of the bobber, I cant lie that's wear I first saw a bike with the mirror mounted below the handlebars! I think in time when the wrap starts to look like garbage I'll paint it but as for now I like the old school look. And yes I will call you up.

Did you keep the exhaust the 4 into 2? and if so did you wrap it down to the joint?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
ReplyDeleteYou pin pointed it. I did keep the 4 into two exhaust and wrapped to the joint, you are 100% correct.
